Also in Italy, this pizza is also called panzerotto and panzarotto. Calzone ingredients are oregano, parmesan, mozzarella, mushrooms, ham and ricotta.
In Italy, they don’t roll out the dough with a rolling pin, they only crush it with their hands, twist it and toss it. It is important that pizza is cooked only in a wood oven, at a temperature of 200 to 215 degrees. Italian pastry is very thin and should have a delicious fried crust. The standard size of Italian pizza does not exceed 35 centimeters in diameter.
